Are you a New Year’s Resolutions person?

Last year I went super simple: not leaving the blender in the sink overnight.

I’d been winging my breakfast plans and improvising workouts whenever I could fit them in — the daily decision making was crushing my energy.

So, almost every morning in 2025, I woke up to a clean blender on my dish rack, a quick, yummy smoothie šŸ¹and did the exact same core warm upand then I crushed my dance goals.

You don’t need to have a smoothie for breakfast. For you, the make-it-easy factor might be:

  • Buying a comfier dance outfit — one that fits the body you’re in right now, has no itchy seams, or makes you feel like a superstar (if you find all three in one, please send me a link)!
  • Setting an alarmā°for a couple one-minute movement breaks at your desk
  • Streamlining your dance conditioning so it actually gets done — I pared down my core routine, and made HUGE progress by doing less!

This isn’t a push to try harder and do more in 2026… we’re all trying plenty hard.

Instead, decide what’ll make your year better, and where the make-it-easy factor can help.

Happy New Year,

Natasha
