My resolution last year was not to leave the blender in the sink overnight. I had big goals for my dance and movement, but I realized what was holding me back wasn’t a lack of time or dedication…

It was taking me awhile to get going with breakfast in the mornings, which cut into my workout time, and I had no set exercise routine. The daily decision making was crushing my energy.

So almost every morning of 2025, I woke up to a clean blender on my dish rack and a quick, yummy smoothie 🍹that allowed me to hop on the mat or log in to teach without any fuss.

You don’t need to have a smoothie for breakfast.

For you, the make-it-easy factor might be:

  • Buying a comfier dance outfit — one that fits the body you’re in right now, has no itchy seams, or makes you feel like a superstar (if you find all three in one, please send me a link)!
  • Setting an alarm⏰for a couple one-minute movement breaks at your desk
  • Streamlining your dance conditioning so it actually gets done — I pared down my core routine, and made HUGE progress by doing less!

None of us can do everything, and this isn’t a push to try harder and do more in 2026… I think we’re all trying plenty hard.

Instead, take some time to figure out what you want this fresh new year to bring, and where the make-it-easy factor can help.

Wishing you a year of filling your artistic cup and feeling stronger than ever,

Natasha
